The first console exclusive that will be talked about is from a personal favorite console called the "Playstation 4". The sleek black design and smooth ergonomically accurate controller help this console succeed so highly above its competitors.
The game in question is beloved by anyone who played it. It is called God Of War.
This game follows many many years after its predecessor titled "God of War III". In the latest installment, players set out as an older Kratos (left) who is taking his son Atreus (right) on journey to spread the ashes of Kratos' wife, who perished not long before this game takes place. Kratos is a stone cold man who is known as a god slayer. he alone took out most of olympus with his bare hands in the previous games.
However now, the vast story telling skills hit the nail on the head to show the story of a man so filled with hate growing ever closer with his son in an unbreakable bond. The game combines Roleplaying elements with action and puzzle solving to keep the player on their toes at all times. This game alone raked in approximately $131 Million dollars, making it Playstations Game of The Year.
The ratings this game recieved were astronomical. They recieved a 10/10 from IGN, a 10/10 from Polygon, and a 94% from Metacritic!
To really make things crazy, they even through in a massive snake called "The World Serpent".
